Thanks to everyone who came out to Nathan Phillips Square to help us in our attempt to break the Guinness World Record again for most saxophonists playing a song! O Canada never sounded better. You guys were amazing! Although we weren't able to top the 918 sax players who played in Taiwan in 2008, we had a great crowd of sax players, young and old, pro and amateur, all having lots of fun on Canada Day.

We're still not sure of the exact number, but the media has reported 789 sax players. The good news is that the Taiwanese record is still not official and may have been compromised by their use of a back up band so our previous 2004 record may still stand. Thanks again to everyone who came out and blew their horn. Whether or not we made history, it was an amazing community event.
