The Shuffle Demons will be workshopping new tunes and playing old favourites at the Orbit Room every second Monday starting May 3rd. The band starts at 10pm and there's a $10 cover.

After a very successful 25th anniversary tour that saw them play every major Canadian Jazz Festival in 2009, the Shuffle Demons are back with a vengeance and playing better than ever. The band has just returned from a highly successful tour to the Zacatecas Cultural Festival in Mexico where New York sax ace Seamus Blake guested with the band. And thanks to the efforts of Demon drummer and booking machine Stich Wynston, the band will be traveling the world to festivals in Brazil, Europe and Asia and New Zealand in the coming months.
To top things off, the Demons have received funding from the Ontario Arts Council to record a new album, their first in several years.
